Heritage

100 Years and Counting!

As we look forward to the next 100 years of service to our loyal clients, we look back to some of the engineers before us.  The earliest vintage of the firm traces back to Oscar Euphrat and Hunter Hanly, of Euphrat & Hanly in 1922.

It was right around this time that architects began using structural consultants to assist in completing the design.  Before that, contractors would furnish the structure using only the architectural design as a basis during the bidding process resulting in sometimes questionable outcomes, especially in a low bid environment.  We are proud to be among the first consulting engineers as this practice became what we are used to today.

From the very beginning, we've been dedicated to the highest quality of professional service to our clients.

Some iconic buildings began with E+H that are still in service today: the Cincinnati Gas and Electric Building, the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, and the McCullough Seed Co. building which serves office and living spaces adjacent to the Interstate 71 and 471 interchange.  The original drawings are still rolled up in our archives room along with many others; a CENTURY of history.

We take pride in our past and look to the future so that we can continue to provide our personalized and creative engineering services.
