KEY STRUCTURAL CHALLENGE
- Build 2-story addition while maintaining access to existing loading dock facility
STRUCTURE The building uses a reinforced concrete joist and beam system on columns.
FACILITIES The structure expands the Intensive Care Unit wing in the fast-growing Northern Kentucky region.
GOP Limited worked with this healthcare system for over 40 years-on projects ranging from a simple floor load analysis to major additions. GOP Ltd. also completed an update of the 6500 square foot Linear Accelerator Unit at the system's East Cancer Treatment Center in Ft. Thomas in 2010.
