KEY STRUCTURAL CHALLENGE
- Make running vibration imperceptive on cantilevered, 11' 6" running/walking track
SOLUTION GOP Limited met the challenge by supporting the track with tapered, cantilevered steel beams. The addition sits on spread foundations, and features steel framing with non-load bearing masonry walls.
FACILITIES These include a double-court gymnasium surrounded by the elevated track, aerobics studio, exercise room, game room, meeting rooms, administrative offices, and entrance lobby.
