KEY STRUCTURAL CHALLENGE
- Added on to two sides of an existing building and incorporating original construction. The solution uses information developed from the original construction project in conjunction with existing drawings.
STRUCTURE The two-story structure has a poured concrete foundation and brick and masonry bearing walls. The roof consists of gables with standing seam metal roof surrounded by flat roof.
FACILITIES The cafeteria expansion adds 150 seats and another 100 are added in Conference Room C. There is a larger kitchen, conference rooms, and an outside terrace, as well as a comfortable student recreation space that includes games, big-screen TV, and seating with wireless access to the Internet.
